Well all you people that are hating on jakes are just stupid. I went there for my birthday and had an amazing time! it was fun and crowded and everyone was dancing on the second floor. It was amazingly a great night. The bouncers and bartenders were nice, cheap and tasty drinks, and great music! so all you new people who haven‘t been there go and try out the second floor if you like to dance! its a good time

Lord how I miss that jukebox every time I get drunk. What says "Stay Classy Iowa City" more than the double wide Fox Head? Nuthin.

Too many drunk, underaged, testosterone charged punks here for me. However if you are looking for drunk, underaged, nymphomaniacs and don‘t mind getting a little hurl on your shoes, it might be just what you‘re looking for in a bar! Sucker punches are free by the way!

Bartenders were passing off cheap liquor for named brand liquor. When i brought it up to the manager/owner he had his bouncers escort me out of the bar. Pay attention to the drinks you recieve they are not always what you order and pay for.

Crowded, gross, rude bouncers & bartenders. This is my least favorite bar in the world.
