This bar actually does still exist it just moved - it‘s next to DC‘s now and it‘s pretty fun!
The staff is rude and the venue is small and impractical. Drinks are over-priced. Sadly, one of the only places for consistent live music.
The only reason this is 5-stars is because I couldn‘t choose 6. The Nick is my G-spot - great food, great drink prices, 2 pool tables, darts, big buck hunter, and an Internet Juke Box. Karaoke on Thursday‘s and the staff is amazing!
Basically - do it to it!
I ordered from this place twice. The first time the food arrived cold and was bland and devoid of character. The second time I was "greeted" by a rude woman who barely gave me time to spit out my order, was told they were "extremely busy" and that the order would take an hour for delivery. Two hours later I gave up and went to bed. SO......if you aren‘t hungry and don‘t care if the food tastes good, then this is your place! If you are accustomed to having tasty Chinese food delivered on a glacial time scale, though, I would suggest you try elsewhere.
I find it funny to read all of these reviews. Everyone seems to be upset by bouncers or the crowd. However, if you go in there on any given weekend, the place is packed. The bouncers handle all of the belligerents, and the bartenders are getting everyone their drinks. What more can you ask for in a bar? If you don‘t like Brothers then go to another bar....It‘ll be just as crowded and there will most likely be cover. (Note: I went to Brothers bar for 4 years straight....only paid cover maybe 4 times. So don‘t complain about cover, as they rarely charge cover. Of course they‘ll have cover on game days. Every bar worth going to does. Here are your options: If it‘s a home game, then why are you not at the game? If it‘s an away game, then either pay the cover or go to a friends place and watch it there. It‘s not that difficult. Realize that you‘re going to pay cover for an away game at most of the well-known bars anyways.)
