We took our son there for his University graduation party. The grill cook was very entertaining but the wait to even see him and the lack of attention was pathetic. We had to "find" someone to order anything to drink more than once. If the entire family had not been there, and it hadn‘t been a party for our son, I think we would have walked out. I called and complained to the manager the next day and he promised some gift certificates, asked for my address and said he would send them right out...I never saw them and have never gone back. That was 2 years ago and I see by other reviews nothing has changed!!

I‘ve been here numerous time. Food is tasty and warm. I have to give it a low mark because of the bugs flying around. I‘ve commented 3 times to staff - they shrugged it off. Called and spoke to day time management. "Bugs are due to apartments upstairs. We spray weekly but they (bugs) come back." Maybe Z‘mariks should spray more often to rid the place of bug. Careful that spice seed might be a gnat.

The place rocks! You should really experience this little slice of Ireland in the heartland.

This restaurant is a pleasant surprise and a heavenly walk as it is close to both residences and the hospital. Everything I tasted was fantastic and I am looking forward to returning. I was proud of yet another little Iowa City restaurant. I was thoroughly impressed by the sandwich and salad I ordered. I would not call this restaurant a five course meal kind of place but it certainly beats the normal lunch stop!!!
