low-life staff mixed with a weird, spaceship-like atmosphere make this place deader than the library on a friday night

Et Cetera is so much fun for a party or bar crawl, but otherwise it‘s basically empty. It‘s unfortunate because they have great drink specials and no cover ever.

Horrible place. The owner is a trashy guy who thinks he is god while he sits at the bar in his sweatpants. He made a presentation to my business frat where he said he believes he has one of the most profitable bars in iowa city. since nobody ever goes there, I can only assume its because his drinks have no alcohol.
The one positive to Etc. is that you can always find a seat. the only bar in iowa city where you always have plenty of space to yourself.
