The whole reason to go out to a bar is to get pussy and to get drunk and you dixie cups are spending your time critiquing the bouncers and the dust on the rafters????? Mommy the bouncer was a meanie and my drink had to much ice and a girl on the dance floor showed her boobies... you fags get your heads out of your boyfriends ass and start partying like big kids there are 16,000 women going to Iowa so use your bar time wisely and drink before you go out! PS try going out on the dance floor that is where the girls they love to dance with boys carpe diem

I dont know why anyone who is actually 21 would go to this bar, its the worst bar downtown, the bar tenders are d-bags, the bouncers are d-bags they treat everyone like shit. Not to mention when you first walk into the bar it smells like someone threw up and pissed all over the floor.

The bar itself is pretty good; a lot of people and the dance floor is always hoppin. This is all in spite of the asshole go-fuck-yourself attitude of every single dickhead fucking bouncer that works there. The only reason I would not go is to avoid having to witness the pieces of shit they have standing in front of the door checking ids. Im 24 and I still cant stand the way they treat underaged people. Dirty, Crowded, Loud Music, and lots of hot college girls... THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Every time I‘ve ever gone, I‘ve had a good time! The drinks aren‘t at arm and leg prices, cover is only $5. I‘d recommend this place to anyone that wants to dance and have a good time!

WOW! Why would you complain about the bar being packed? Are you a part of the book club? Go have a nice glass of wine in the tub. Its time to pull up the socks and party hard, or stay home and watch desperate house wives.

The place is a shithole bartenders are dicks and the security guards are pussies..I fell at the bottom of the steps because the carpet was soaked and broke my foot the refused to contact the owner to replace my clothes and pay for the doctor bills. My clothes were soaked and stained from all the nasty shit in the carpet.

I‘ve never had worse service in my life!! And there were only fifteen people in the bar at the time. I understand that the door guys have to card hard but what‘s the bartenders excuse for being a complete ass? And he had a dip in!! Great job service staff and management, you win the "I‘m out of college and doing nothing with my life award"

Those who don‘t like this place and complain of it being too dirty/dusty, muggy and overcrowded are virgins. Who reviews a bar as bad for having too many people? That‘s why it‘s a party! Are you trying to sip martinis while mingling with your girlfriends. If so, try the Piano Lounge in Cedar Rapids. But if you‘re looking to party U of I style, put your party hats on and leave the V-cards at home, ladies! Let the fire marshall do his job. Meanwhile, do your job and be a f**king college student.

This Bar smells like piss. It needs a good cleaning. They have different rules for patrons and employees. Employees can bring in their own food but no one else can. They are very rude. Thursday is the best day to go even though they have increased the cover to $5 (used to be $3) But all you can eat wings from 8-10 pm. They are not the best wings but what do you expect for $5. Someone needs to teach them not to over cook them.

The bouncers at the door aren‘t very friendly at all. I would think that if a fire marshal ever walked into the place on the weekend they would get a huge fine because they are always way over capacity, which makes it very hot, muggy, and uncomfortable. The place is ran like a cattle auction; push as many through as you can in one time. All they care about is quantity, not quality. It‘s typically hard to get a drink. If you‘re ever there, take a look around, I don‘t think it‘s been cleaned in years. The ceiling rafters and speaker trusses have inches of dust and dirt on them above the dance floor which would act like gasoline were the place to catch fire. The props they use to drop balloons for new years have been attached to the ceiling for well over a year. Unless you are trying to go to a bar that is way over crowded, smells like ass, don‘t mind wasted ppl spilling all over you/puking on you, potential for significant fire, and bad service, then stay out of field house.

Seriously one of the worst bars in iowa city about IDs. The people who work there are really rather rude. Watch out for a fat red headed bouncer. - Major Asshole

just another sorority frat bar with "dollar you call its" that are more ice and filler than alcohol. allways too loud and over capacity.

Great atmosphere for football games, oozes black and gold. Busy friday and saturday, with some alright thursday specials. Fun place, though more expensive since it is in the middle of downtown on the pedmall.

Its an okay place. Even if you‘re 21 or older you have to pay, but if you want to dance or hang out, its a good place. Over crowded at times, but not too bad. Great in the winter ‘cause of the coat check room.

Ok place to go. Dollar you call it on thursdays is pretty nice and their drinks are pretty good. Any big game draws a pretty fun crowd.
