One-Eyed Jakes

Well all you people that are hating on jakes are just stupid. I went there for my birthday and had an amazing time! it was fun and crowded and everyone was dancing on the second floor. It was amazingly a great night. The bouncers and bartenders were nice, cheap and tasty drinks, and great music! so all you new people who haven‘t been there go and try out the second floor if you like to dance! its a good time

This is the WORST bar in Iowa City. Terrible staff and an even worse DJ. I‘ve never had a good experience here

One of the worst bars anywhere. Underage everywhere and drunk. Don‘t bother.

Great Bar For All Types of People. DJs at Jakes and Summit both are amazing....gets crazy...good drinks...they‘ve cleaned up a lot of the riff raff there!!! Give it a GO!!!

This is the place that everybody is afraid to admit they like, but always hang out there. I kinda like the place too. Diverse college crowd and cheap drinks. Usually pretty busy.

its great to hangout with your friends downstairs and have a couple drinks and talk then u can go upstairs and dance and party!

Loud and dark, in the worst way. Avoid at all costs unless you‘re not the one who‘s buying.

Great place to just chill and relax w/friends. Not top of the line, but the environment is nice if you are in the know. Just pull up a chair to the bar, and let the night unfold.

its a fuckin frat bar. If you‘re not a slut...and you don‘t have greek letters across your cest-don‘t go there.

This is quite possibly the worst establishment in all of Iowa. It‘s dirty, usually packed and full of underaged people who go there because they aren‘t afraid of getting busted with an MIP. If they gave negative ratings I‘d probably give this bar a negative 5.

awsome place to just go and hang out, very nice
