The Vine Tavern

The best beer and wings in Iowa City with a great low-key atmosphere. Don‘t pass up on their own Vine Ale (Steins for $2.50 all the time!) and their super-hot wings are wonderful if you like them hot. The rest of their food is decent with the additional miss, but go there and you won‘t be disappointed.

By far the best sports bar in Iowa City area. Teryaki Bourbon wings are the best thing since beer!! Play the fight song periodically through the night and not just on gamedays. Everyone stands and sings along, which can‘t be said for some other bars in the area. Great service, good looking waitresses, unbelievable food and lots of flat screens.

You‘d better get there early or grab a beer and wait for a while. This place is that popular and it warrants it.

This place is awesome. I have been eating at The Vine since high school because they have the best wings I‘ve ever had. Recently I started drinking there too because I just turned twenty-one. The service at the bar is amazing. A guy once give me doubles on a round of apple pie shots because he served one person before me, then later that week a different bar tender gave me a double scotch just because they were out of Glenlivet, which is what I ordered. I don‘t know if this is something that bars usually do, but I know I really appreciated it.

Best wings I‘ve ever had, great burgers too. The "Vine Ale" is also fantastic, it‘s like Smithwicks or Newcastle, except it‘s only a dollar or two for a pint (depending on the night).

on thursday its the place to be for $4 wings, $3 domestic steins, $5 import steins. plunty of big screens for games. all around good place to eat.

Best wings in Iowa City/Coralville. Great beer specials too.
