Bland is not the word to describe the home made sauce, crust and fresh ingredients. Pagliai‘s is consistent with its taste but it is everything but bland. The restaurant oozes with tradition being one of the oldest pizza places in the area and the fan base continues to grow due to their amazing pizza. I have been eating Pagliai‘s pizza for 20 years and have never grown tired of it.

Not bad, definitely not the best in Iowa City. I‘ve been numerous times and no matter what is ordered the taste is always on the bland side. Pagliai‘s has a loyal fan following but other then being one of the older pizzerias in town they don‘t have much else to offer.

Hands down best pizza in the area. Atmosphere is glib and weird, but it never changes which adds to its 40+years charm. Good place for the lovers of thin crust pizza. * Chicagoans (Samoans?) look some place else.

Best pizza in Iowa City/Coralville area. Great owners, friendly staff.
